This is a 90 day inside look inside my life as I attempt to achieve goals both inside and outside CFB. One of my goals is to lose 25 pounds, achieve one unassisted pull-up and to complete a 5k. One of my goals outside of CFB is to get back to becoming a competitive basketball player again.

Day 8 Monday 4/9/2012
I haven't kept up with my blog since last Wednesday. Haven't worked out since then nor have I kept up with my diet. Yesterday I was totally off track by eating 3 slices (not the smallest either) of carrot cake. I have to work on discipline and not letting life's distractions keep me from doing what I have to do on a daily basis to achieve my ultimate goal. Going to finish this week as strong as I start it.

Nort, don't get yourself totally down about deviating from the program. This isn't easy. You're making big changes and in the face of life's distractions it's difficult to be strong all the time. Just do what you can do, and pick up where you left off the next day. You can do it. I had a total melt-down at my nieces 1st birthday party on Saturday because I was SO UPSET that I couldn't have a bunch of beer and crappy food with cupcakes. No joke, I blew up Rebecca and Hillary's phone like they were my AA sponsor. Just be better today. Every healthy choice and healthy decision will fuel your confidence to do it again and again. :)
